This page can be used to change either a system's root password (used for SSH logins), its Webmin password, or both. This may be necessary when you are turning a system over to another user or customer, or if the original password is too weak or has been compromised.
When changing the Webmin password, you have an option to make it the same as the Unix root password. This is done by configuring Webmin on the system to use PAM or read the /etc/shadow file when root logs in,
so that any future changes to the SSH password will match.
